All staff who use this test equipment.

Objectives

A basic understanding of the circuitry to ensure that the trainee will better understand the use of as well as the limitations of the device being used.

Contents

  1. Basic circuits used in oscilloscopes.

  2. Vertical inputs and attenuators Vertical Axis.

  3. Sweeps or horizontal axis as well as XY mode.

  4. Use of dual/delay timebase.

  5. Use of these units to understand the limitations of these devices.

  6. Calibration of these units. What is the purpose of calibration.

  7. Understanding the calibration certificate.

  8. Practical use performing measurements and questions.
