Tektronix Appoints Kuhnert to Vice President of
EMEA Sales, Instruments Business
Bracknell, UK., July 4th, 2006 – Tektronix, Inc. (NYSE: TEK), a leading worldwide provider of
test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation, today announced that Hans-Peter Kuhnert
has been appointed Vice President of Sales for its Instruments Business in Europe, Middle East
and Africa (EMEA). In his new role, Kuhnert will be responsible for managing the sales and
support of all Instruments Business products, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, real time
spectrum analyzers, signal sources and video test and measuring instruments, as well as
representing the company as a senior executive in the region. Kuhnert succeeds Neil Huddlestone who moves to become Vice President of Global Channel
Strategy and Business Operations for the Instruments Business. Huddlestone will be
responsible for the Instruments Business’ distribution strategy, both direct and complementary,
working closely with the regional sales organizations and with the product development
organisations. He will also be responsible for the business unit’s sales operations strategy.
Previously, Kuhnert held the position of Sales Director for the Network Management product
channel for the company’s Communications Business in EMEA. Prior to that, he was Sales
Director for the Network Diagnostics product channel. In these roles, he was responsible for
growing sales of Tektronix mobile protocol & wireless test equipment, and of the Tektronix
Unified Assurance suite of products, in the EMEA region.
