High-Performance Timer/Counters
Pendulum offers a choice of two high-performance timer/counter models; the ultra-fast/ultra-resolution CNT-81 and the CNT-81R with built-in Rubidium timebase. The counters are equipped with GPIB-interface as standard, for use in automatic test systems, or in PC-controlled instrument clusters on the lab bench or workshop bench. The standard frequency range of 225/300 MHz can be extended to 2.7 GHz. With the new 8 GHz prescaler input option, the frequency measuring range is extended into 8 GHz. Optional timebase oscillators extend the timebase stability to 0.02 ppm/year. The CNT-81R has a built-in atomic clock standard
(Rubidium).

High-Performance Frequency counters.
We have developed two high-performance frequency counter models for every need and budget. Choose from the basic 300 MHz frequency counter CNT-85 or the ultimate portable frequency calibrator CNT-85R with built-in Rubidium time base.
Both counters can be equipped with optional HF-inputs to 2.7 GHz and a GPIB-interface, for use in automatic test systems, or in PC-controlled instrument clusters on the lab bench or workshop bench.
The CNT-85 is a compact portable high-performance frequency counter ideal for portable frequency calibration. It is very easy to use, thanks to an advanced and intelligent Auto Set function, which ensures perfect triggering on any type of input signal. Compared with other frequency counters, the CNT-85 has a lot extra to offer, like an input signal level meter (analog bar graph), pulse width and duty cycle measurements.
The CNT-85R is an excellent portable calibrator for calibration of the master clock in GSM base stations. Its built-in atomic clock never needs to be adjusted during the lifetime of the network.

 Today Pendulum Instruments offers two unique transportable Wandermeters, WM-10 and WM-11, for verifying the quality of synchronization clocks in digital networks, e.g. SDH/PDH/SONET. These units weigh only 5 kg and contain everything needed, including the internal Rubidium reference and the presentation mode SW for calculating and displaying TIE-, MTIE- and TDEV-curves on the built-in graphical display. WM-10 is a very accurate and easy-to-use portable Wandermeter, designed for wander measurements on E1 clock and data signals (2.048 MHz/Mbits/s). WM-11 is a mulit-application synchronization testing tool for a multitude of data rates in SDH, PDH, SONET, Video and frequency reference distribution networks. The Wandermeters cost less than many of comparable units and are extremely easy to operate.
