mxfSPEEDRAIL S1000 – SDI Recorder
mxfSPEEDRAIL is a powerful and flexible multi-format SDI recording system. Affordable and simple to use, it captures material directly into shared media storage, making it ready for editing even during recording.

• MULTI-CHANNEL and MULTI-DESTINATION
  In order to offer unparalleled reliability in compact units and unlimited expansion, mxfSPEEDRAIL is now available in a 3 or 6 channel system. Plus, its ability to write clips to multiple destinations at the same time means extra flexibility, more capacity and additional redundancy, while the built-in fallback system is a perfect fit for critical workflows.

  The Edit-While-Capture feature is a boon for today's production processes, as clips can be worked on right away with Avid or Final Cut Pro, even while mxfSPEEDRAIL is still recording.   Monitoring and configuration is stress-free, either using the local or the web-based GUI, which means a simple browser can be used anywhere on the network. And the S1000 plays nicely with your asset management and automation systems by means of its SOAP and BVW/VDCP interfaces. Then again, for simpler applications, its monitoring, scheduling and «gang control» features mitigate the need for extra automation systems.
  
  
• BATCH CAPTURE & SCHEDULING
  mxfSPEEDRAIL makes batch capturing tape assets a simple task, due to its frame-accuracy and built-in VTR controller. And the scheduling engine takes care of capturing one-off and recurring feeds at any time and date.

Freeing your editor from ingest and outgest (stitch, export and publish) operations is fundamental for a fast turnaround of content. mxfSPEEDRAIL F1000 and O1000 give you just that: they transparently move your media – video, audio and metadata – from any location into and out of your shared storage, including AVID UnityTM ISIS or MediaNetwork.

  mxfSPEEDRAIL F1000 is the ideal solution to move towards to a tapeless system, as it ingests HD, SD and proxy files from a broad range of devices, such as Sony XDCAM™, Sony XDCAM HD, Sony XDCAM EX, Panasonic P2™, Panasonic P2 HD. And, because metadata is vital to keep track of assets, mxfSPEEDRAIL preserves camera metadata when transferring clips, making it available for editors and MAMs.
